7‑Day Return Policy 

At AbstractBySonal, we want you to feel confident when selecting artwork for your home or workspace. If you receive your piece and realise it isn’t the right fit, you may request a return within 7 business days of delivery.

How to Start a Return

To begin the return process, please email us promptly at abstractbysonal@gmail.com. All returns must be requested and approved before the artwork is sent back. Unapproved returns may not be accepted.

You have seven (7) days from the date your artwork is delivered to decide whether you would like to keep it.


Packaging Requirements

The artwork must be returned in the same condition it arrived in and must be repackaged securely using all original materials, including protective wrapping, certificates, and any accessories.

Proper packaging ensures the artwork is protected during transit.


Domestic Returns (Australia)

Once your return request is approved:

  • We will arrange the collection of the artwork from your address.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

  • These costs will be deducted from your refund once the artwork has been received and inspected.


International Returns

For customers outside Australia:

  • You are responsible for arranging the return shipment.

  • The artwork must be sent using a trackable and insured shipping method.

  • All return shipping costs are covered by the customer.

  • Tracking details must be emailed to abstractbysonal@gmail.com once shipped.

A refund will be issued only after the artwork arrives back in its original, undamaged condition.


Condition of Returned Artwork

Refunds are issued only if the artwork is returned:

  • In the same condition it was originally sent

  • With no damage, marks, dents, scratches, or alterations

  • Properly packaged to prevent transit damage

If the artwork is returned with any damage, missing packaging, or signs of mishandling, the cost of repair or loss in value will be deducted from the refund.

If the artwork is severely damaged, a refund may not be possible.


Refund Processing

Once the artwork is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Return shipping costs (if applicable) will be deducted
